BANKHOTEL is a new business hotel in Lviv

On June 8, 2018, the business hotel "BANKHOTEL" was opened in the historic part of the city of Lviv (street of Listopadovogo Chinu, 8). It is known that this building was created by architects Edmund Zhikhovich and Michal Luzhetsky at the beginning of the twentieth century for the branch of the Austro-Hungarian bank, and in 2014, the Creative Architectural Workshop "KUDIN" began work on a project for the reconstruction of a bank building for a hotel. The idea of preserving the authenticity of the building as an architectural monument was the main one at the basis of planning decisions.
There are 101 rooms, 8 conference rooms, a restaurant SAFE, a wine bar "RESERVE" with an open terrace and a night-time art bar "SATIRIKON" which will host exhibitions of famous cartoonists.
Placing in the structure of the Austro-Hungarian bank of the operating room gave the authors of the project the opportunity to design a congress hall for 270 seats with the possibility of converting it into 8 separate conference rooms due to sliding partitions. Guests at the congress hall can take advantage of the lounge and open-air terrace.
There is also a permanent exhibition of two art projects by Kudin VP - «Banknotes and steps» and «Coins» on the territory of the hotel. The first project shows the banknotes of the Ukrainian People’ s Republic, telling about the features of each bill, who its author and where it was printed, and the second project - "Coins" - related to the extremely beautiful anniversary coins of the National Bank of Ukraine.
